SUPPORTING CHILDREN & FAMILIES IN TOUGH TIMES
Our charity was founded by my brother, Steve Harris, in 1987. Steve loved horses, team penning, team roping, and, most of all, children. Since his untimely death in 1999, we have honored him by continuing his legacy of raising funds for terminally ill children at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Our funds aid programs that directly support the children and their families during these very tough times. Our organization is a 501c3 charity (ID #33-0063450). So be assured donations are tax deductible. Thanks for visiting.

Charity Administrator

history
In 1987, my brother, Steve Harris, decided he wanted to do something for children in the community. So with the help of our mother, Dru, they decided the best way to achieve this goal was to do it in conjunction with their church, Crenshaw Baptist Church in Torrance, which we had been members of since 1957. With the assistance and guidance of a lifelong friend and member of the church, Mary Jewell Mayes, the three of them began their search for children in need. Along with the help of others, they identified kids in need at The City of Hope Children's Hospital, and UCLA Harbor General Hospital.
